Between dancehall and Caribbean music, X-Man established his reputation in the
West Indies with the album Atypique in 2011. Featured on numerous zouk and
dancehall compilations, X-Man rubs shoulders with established artists such as
Admiral T and E.sy Kennenga. In July 2014, X-Man released his second album,
Saturday Night. However, it was not with this record that he saw his notoriety
rise in France, but with the song "Madinina Kuduro" released in 2011, which
became a club hit host during the summer of 2014.
