Argentinian-born trap artist Ysy A got his start under the name Alejo organising the biggest freestyle competition in Latin America and now, years later, has a following as an artist in his own right. Ysy A began organising The Fifth Step back in 2012, modelling it in the style of events like Halabalusa or the freestyle battles of Las Vegas. Muphasa came on board a few months into the event and The Fifth Step was soon pulling in crowds of spectators, prompting it to move to a bigger venue.
