Zé Luis
(Ze Luis)
A carpenter by trade, Zé Luis began his musical career at a time when most
people were thinking of retiring. Discovered by chance in 2012 at the Kriol Jazz
Festival held in Praia on the island of Santiago, where he lives, the Cape
Verdean quickly won over professionals with his velvety timbre. At just sixty
years of age (he was born in 1953), Zé Luis can now proudly release his first
album with Serenata.
