Cory Wong
Cory Wong, born around 1985 in Poughkeepsie, New York, and raised in
Minneapolis, began his musical journey with piano lessons at age nine before
transitioning to bass and guitar. Influenced by funk, rock, and jazz, Wong honed
his craft through local jazz performances and collaborations in Nashville. In
2013, he joined Minneapolis' Dr. Mambo's Combo and connected with Vulfpeck,
contributing to their albums and co-founding The Fearless Flyers.
