Hanne Boel
Danish singer, Hanne Boel is the former vocalist of jazz-rock band, Blast. Born
31 August, 1957 in Bagsværd, Copenhagen, Boel studied at the Royal Danish
Academy of Music before graduating in 1980. After studying at the Berklee School
of Music in Boston, Boel became a music teacher and released two albums with
Blast in 1983 and 1986. Her debut solo album, Black Wolf was a huge success in
Denmark and won her the Danish Music Award for Female Singer of the Year. A
