Born March 9, 1942 in Eugene, Oregon, Mark Lindsay would rise to fame as the
lead singer of the 60s rock band Paul Revere & the Raiders. As the band
progressed, Lindsay took more and more control over the creative direction of
the band, often producing the records and eventually writing or co-writing the
majority of their hits including “Good Thing”, “Too Much Talk”, and “Mr. Sun,
Mr. Moon”. In 1970 he issued his first solo single, “First Hymn From the Grand
